Controversy over Grand Renaissance Dam unresolved

Over in Addis Ababa, the controversy over the construction of the Grand Renaissance Dam is far from over. A recent meeting of technical representatives from Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt ended without resolving some of the key contentious issues, especially the effect the dam will have on water flow, in downstream countries. Ethiopia’s government still maintains that the dam is not harmful. Girum Chala reports.
