African leaders arrive in Addis Ababa for AU summit

The continent’s top leaders have started arriving in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, ahead of the 26th African Union Summit. [TAKE VO]South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma arrived earlier on Friday as Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari left Kenya and is expected at the AU headquarters any time now. This year’s theme is “Human rights, with a particular focus on the rights of women”. A number of African countries have made strides to protect the rights of women like Rwanda, where 64% of members of parliament are women.
